It's been an incredible year for music, with so many great tunes that it was hard enough to make a shortlist of 100 songs, never mind 50. The likes of Peder, MS MR, Cut Copy, Neon Neon, Portugal The Man, Chin Chin, MT Ossa, Tijuana Panthers, Sleigh Bells, East India Youth and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin could so easily have made this list on another day.
